About Us

The Renfrew Rotary Family has 4 clubs in Renfrew – Interact for 14-17 yrs, Rotaract for 17-24 yrs, Inner Wheel and Rotary 24+. Rotary involves local people getting together for ‘Social Events’ and ‘Charity Fundraising’. Meet lifelong friends and get involved in the wider community. Club membership represents a cross-section of people that live or work locally, each happy to give a little time back to the local community. Renfrew’s membership is made up of school children, students, builders, surveyors, electricians, magistrates, publicans, printers, shopkeepers, nurses, teachers, office workers etc.

We’ve raised money for local charities such as Capability Scotland, Accord Hospice, Alzheimer’s Scotland, CHAS, Enable Scotland, Erskine Hospital, PoppyScotland. Annual events include: golf, snooker, shooting, bowling, ten-pin bowling, theatre, walking, paint balling, football etc.

We have no overheads: every penny of the money we raise goes to the people we support. We build goodwill and peace and encourage high ethical standards in all vocations. With 1.2 million members worldwide and with a seat on the United Nations we also have an international voice.

Renfrew Rotary meets at the Glynhill Hotel, 169 Paisley Road, Renfrew PA4 8XB Telephone: 0141 886 5555. 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 6:00pm for 6:15pm. The 2nd Tuesday is a Zoom business meeting and the 4th week is a social evening.
